Summer student position
We are looking for a student to join our team this summer!
Hedgeview Farm is excited to invite students to apply to our first "Summer Job" position! We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and eagerness to put their best efforts forward in our organic market garden operation.
The Job
The tasks will vary from day-to-day, but will include:
- Field work - planting, cultivating, weeding.
- Greenhouse work - planting, watering, tending.
- Crop work - harvesting, washing, packing, labelling.
- Plenty of ad-hoc farm tasks too!
What We Are Offering
- 20 hours per week, with possibility for more hours.
- Hours are roughly 8:30am - 1:30pm, Tuesday to Friday
- Start date is roughly May 31st, end August 27th (negotiable)
- $15/hour

The Candidate We Are Seeking
Student, between the ages of 18 and 30, who:
- has own accommodations and transportation.
- is comfortable in performing physical, outdoor work.
- has interest in agriculture, organic food, gardening and/or environmental sustainability.
- may have some prior related experience.
